It’s show time!
And so they begin...
We’ve hit the ground running and have started the fair season again. We’ve been here there and everywhere already – from Marlborough to Winchester, Holistic Fairs to Fashion Shows. We’ve just been up to Sudeley Castle for the Spring Homes and Garden Show – one of our biggest yet!

So, we had the usual lesson of never trusting the weather reports - fairs seem to have their own eco-system. We literally started the day with 6 layers on (that marquee had definitely chilled down overnight!), but as the customers arrived, the heat turned right up, until we wondered whether we had any layers left to strip off and still be decent!
Wombling free
Where next? Where looking for Wombles! We’re off to Morden Park this Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday. It’s pretty near Wimbledon Common and so we’d like to think (with our 1970’s childhoods) that we might get to see some Wombles! Check your diaries and see if you can pop in to say hello!
Feelin’ good
The following weekend we’re closer to home - we’re dividing and conquering and attending 3 different fairs in a weekend – all whilst celebrating Alex’s daughter’s 16th birthday, revision for GCSEs and degrees and following up the next step after Nikki’s son’s Canadian Ski instructor course. Exciting times!
Nikki will be at the Feel Good Festival at Woodlands Castle, Taunton on May 11th & 12th and Alex will be at the Holbrook Manor Health Club, Wincanton for their Mindfulness Event on the Saturday. Then on Sunday, she'll be supporting the Holistic Fair at Stoke St Gregory, near Taunton which is raising funds for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance Charity. Busy bees! All these events have a fabulous line up of treatments and presentations – we can’t wait to feel those feel good vibes!
Across the border
Taking us to the end of May are two events just across the border! We’ve returning to the gorgeous Symondsbury Estate, Bridport for their Country Fayre on Saturday 18th May - we have such a great time there last summer and at their Christmas event. It’s an absolute gem of a location – a really special place with an amazing cafe and shops. We’re so excited to see our wonderful stockists there at Colmers Hill- an amazing boutique with stunning collections and lovely staff... it’s hard to resist picking up some new pieces when we visit!
Then, even closer to home is our first time at the Sherborne Country Fair – with a reputation for amazing stalls we’re really looking forward to attending this fair that is so close to home – make sure you come and say hello!
